I'm looking to upload my song to youtube with just a static picture. How do you guys do this?

static picture with a track is lame, go post it over at soundcloud and add a static picture for the SC page.
I never understood a video of a picture.

I don't mind static picture...perhaps it'll be my album cover. I see so many artists doing this on youtube and it seems to work just fine having a static pic. Anyone know how this can be done? I just bought iMovie 11 in hopes it can do this.

I`m not saying you can`t do it.
I just thinks it`s a stupid idea to have video footage of nothing, especially if you`re doing it just because the other guy is.
But it`s very simple really.
Even Windows Movie maker can do it.
Just insert the image and use the track as a backing track.

Upload to youtube via normal methods

Well I got a picture into iMovie and dragged an audio clip in as well but it only plays it for 4s, or I think up to 10s if I change some settings. How do I get it to just stay static picture for duration of song? thx people!

do it the other way round maybe?
import the sound and then add the image and have the image play for the duration of the clip.

Just stretch the image clip, duh
