Can you try rephrasing your question in the form of a question?

its not how they look, its the exclusivity they can bring to a set

Yeah mate the white label is because of a process called bleaching which improves the quality of the record to at least 128kbps

The label is literally white.

sometimes they are only released on vinyl

often are limited runs

usually the songs chosen to be on whites are quite special.

beginning to hate this forum,
so many like to be smartasses
becoming less and less of an actual community

I'd say the design on a white label, is like the minimalist you can get really, nothing else is more minimal! Maybe a minimal techno white label hmmm

Digital White Label. No physical product. Even more minimalistic.

In fact, to go even more minimalistic, somebody just turns up at your house, sings Eyez VIP and then runs off.

If you really want to get minimal like all the true steppers out there you would listen to digital files only. No physical product = minimal tingz. Thats what us true heads are doing though, its not for the non-pure, like you.

Have fun brosteppers.

Basically white label releases are either a limited run in advance of the proper version of the release or they are the only version available of the release and so be limited again.

People get hyped over owning them as they're harder to get hold of and thus means you have a more exclusive tune to play out or if you're a collector it means you have something nice to own in the future.

Often times white labels are used in the event that a sample has been used on a track, but the producer does not own the rights to the sample. That way, the label who put the record out can't be traced based on the physical record alone.

Often times white labels are cheaper than printed labels. Sorted.
