Anyone down to do this with me? Try and make a song a week regardless how shit/good it will be. I think if someone did this with me I'll be more encouraged to finish a lot of songs and learn more in a shorter amount of time.

P.S I know there is a Dub Tunes For Feedback Thread/Unfinished tunes Thread but I think what I'm doing here is totally different and encourages people to make songs with their peers in a timely fashion with feedback to whoever participates.

Please leave a comment that you would want to participate so I can add your name to this weekly challenge.

Rules

-Must be a full length song from intro-outro not unfinished tunes(Must finish a song regardless, work on it later if you really have too)
-All genres
-Start on Fridays and turn in your song the next Friday.
-Upload your song onto soundcloud.com and send me a message with the soundcloud link for me to post. Do not post your soundcloud link as a comment.
-Give feedback to all tunes that are turned into this thread if you participate no matter what. No half-ass reviews & really listen to the song. Suggestions like "Fix the EQ'ing for this,Take this out, Add this in, Put this effect" etc. will help people improve faster/understand more.
-I'll post songs on the front page from Week 1, Week 2, Week 3 etc. see if there are improvements and what not.

I generally do this anyway, so I'm in...though weeks 3 & 4 I may be out the country, so might be tricky.

I'd be up for trying, though no promises

I'll try...don't be disappointed, though, if I make something really crappy in 5 mins just for the sake of making something.

WOW! This was my new years resolution! Not really dubstep, but i will probably do some dubstepish tunes. Check mine out here. Almost finished week 3!

Sounds good! It reminds me of some old Pretty Lights stuff. Nice chill atmospheric vibe with some hip hop and funk in it. Sounds fresh throughout the entire song.

That's pretty cool that you're doing the same thing! Did you wanna join in this list? I'm doing this for people that need help(like myself) in getting a song every week from help of their peers. But if you got it going by yourself I wouldn't be worried at all. :p

BTW, if this does just turn into Feedback Thread Part 2, then it'll be getting locked. You need to ensure this thread is bringing something new to the table...if it's just another circle jerk of people posting tunes for each other, it'll get canned

It's actually encouraging others to get 1 track done each week. Some reason if I know you guys are going to do a track it makes me want to do/finish a track even more. The more the merrier. Then when it's week 2 I'll edit the post and have slots for it/put the week 2 songs there. Week 1 songs(old songs) will go below the main post.

You press the quote button when all the songs are already there for that week. Comment/feedback/how you improved/what needs to be improved/encouraging you to keep making tracks. Brings people together in the community.

I suck at explaining things but I hope it works.
