Re: Rephlex-Plague
mate good idea, but everything seems to be drowning everything out....need to really be rolling off the lows a lot on the eq, sounds like you may not have done any eqing ? process your sounds and the song will sound much better.

Re: Rephlex-Plague
Yeah i didn't do much to this song at all , its un mixed and un mastered . its basically straight out of the studio .
Re: Rephlex-Plague
Dude, my stuff straight out of the studio is still mixed!
I like the lead synths and the chromatic descending bits. Some nice sounding elements. It needs a strong, melodic mid range element like a vocal to finish it off however. The mix also needs a lot of work.
Post it up again when you've EQed, polished and mixed!

Re: Rephlex-Plague
It won't be any time soon , this song wasn't really a serious project it was more of something to help bring back my inspiration .

Re: Rephlex-Plague
The main problem actually would be mixing , seeings how i use fl studio and none of my drums or anything are in their own track , and matching vocals would be extremely hard because of the way the melody is set up/chords .
Re: Rephlex-Plague
Man for real that name. Rephlex records is to close to home. RDJ is a don among dons. Little respect. Unless your like his nephew or some crazy ish, track sounded cool though. Could use some groove tweaking, maybe more perc to keep momentum

Re: Rephlex-Plague
Yeah rephlex records , and dj rephlex , I don't really know what to do about all that . And tweaking this track is going to be a pain in the ass because of the way i did it , usually ill mix/master soon after finishing , but this one i left in the studio for like 3 days before putting it out so i lost track of what i was doing "/ but thanks for listening and feedback !
* this track was mainly for self inspiration to get back into the dubstep feel
