Another thing that grinds my gears.

Here's another something that grinds my gears. I'm not a mac user, and I'm pro- nor anti-mac, but I'm starting to realize that anti-mac people are generally more annoying than pro-mac people. Last few weeks, almost every day I've witnessed the follwing happening on a forum or facebook or some other site:

Random person 1: I have a MacBook
Random person 2: HAHAHA OMG OVERPRICED LOLOLOL
Random person 3: lol you're a macfag you're stupid I use PC. SUPERIOR!!!
Random person 4-1009082309098: trolololo stupid macfag get a pc pc better~~~~~~~~~

Fucking hell... SHUT. UP. If someone wants to buy an Apple product, let them. It's their decision how they spend their money. And another thing: don't start discussing on how one OS is better than the other if you don't even have a clue how a fucking operating system works and is designed. And even more important: don't say one is better than the other if you haven't both tried them out. Don't you dare to come up to me and say: "well I tried B out a few years ago, for 5 minutes, at a friends house, and I think A is better" because I will hunt you down and go fucking medieval on your ass. Now here, take all the fucks I have because I have a lot to give and I don't want them anymore.

The debate is basicly as bad as the whole "vinyl vs cds vs digital" thing, which gives me the "if I had a gun now, no one would survive"-feeling too.

I get annoyed by how dominos pretends to do really great offers when in reality their 'offers' still results in pizzas slightly more expensive than anywhere else

Macs are shit.

To be honest, it doesn't bother me one bit. Let them argue.

I also own both a netbook (and used countless PCs all my life) and have a desktop iMac. There is little to no difference unless you're doing something rather specialist in which case both win in different areas or want to play games in which case you need to shell out a shit load on your PC set up anyway.

It's the user, not the computer/OS.
One can be just as shit as the other depending on how the user works and has it set up. I've used Macs that crashed nonstop during rendering. I've used PCs that haven't crashed or been rebooted in months. Once they are set up right, it's equal as far as stability/use goes. That said, PCs excel at things Macs suck at, and vice versa. It's true though, they are ridiculously overpriced, but so is Alienware in the PC realm.

I do find some Mac/iProduct fans to be annoying, but most are not. It's the fanatics that are annoying, like them:

the way i see it is, Macs specs are usually better than pc, pc can be modded better than Mac..people cant be bothered to mod PC, Apple market their product so users think they are better than what they are
Macs need their right click funtion to be enabled and its not default ahhh
im a pc user and have used macs before through college for production and although they look so much better and are usually pretty fast i just cant be bothered with them
Also contrary to popular belief they DO get viruses i have seen it..thats another arguement that grinds my gears

NilsFG You must being the worst person to have a conversation with. You're so hip you don't even enjoy common debates. I bet mentioning coke and pepsi in the same sentence makes your face red.

:z:

Building your own PC and installing your Favourite OS is the best way to go.
