MPK-Mini help needed !

hey guys :)
i've heard youre not too fond of newbies but i'm having real trouble with my setup :(
problem no.1 : i have no clue how to assign the twiddly nobs to effects and controls (i.e volume control, warp, beatrepeat, wetness etc..)
i have tried in the mpk mini editor but i can only change values of cc, low and high (and even if i change the values of cc etc..and i upload it onto the mpk mini and then test it on a simple synth in ableton the twiddly nobs have no effect whatsoever) and cant find a way to map effects and controls :( :(

second problem : when i choose a simple drum kit in ableton and then want to control the drums using the pads on the mpk the pads don't react. however i noticed that the pads are assigned to some squares in the drums view in ableton and when i pulled a kick or snare etc..to the square the pads work..butthe assignement seems totally random and i don't think assigning drums to pads should be that complicated :?: :u:

other smaller issues : i have seen videos on youtube where a person using the mpk mini can have the mpk repeat a beat or synth at constant speed (so the user only has to press a pad once to trigger the constant repetition of a kick drum or snare etc and then can build up a beat from there) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0J6lVQzVte0 is the video (should be better than my crappy explanation)...
also how does the arpeggiator work? i can't get the full effect out of it as other users seem to get?
BTW I HAVE READ THE MANUAL THAT CAME IN THE BOX BUT IT HAS NOT HELPED ME SOLVE THESE ISSUES/MY OWN STUPIDITY.
thanks in advance :Q:

Just to clear things up we don't hate new members... we don't like it when people don't read rules and stickies and just post thread after thread of how do i make (insert artist) bass. When there is clearly a thread for that.

just use the search before asking anything and you'll be fine
