So, when i'm trying to do some work and i'm listening to some tunes there are a few in particular that make me stop working and listen right to the end on top volume.

Mine are:

La Roux - In For The Kill (Skream's Lets Get Ravey Remix)
Benga - 26 Basslines
Breakage - Rain
Burial - Archangel
Digital Mystikz - Anti War Dub Feat. Spen G

Yours?

Um...anyways, renditions of Queen aside...

Digital Mystikz - Anti War Dub ft. Spen G - it's such an amazing tune. I just want to sit back from whatever boring work I'm doing and drift into the depths of the track

Lung - Afterlife (Kryptic Minds Remix) - this one is so deep, it's absolutely beautiful. At the moment, I'd probably say it's my favorite tune. It just is so luscious and dark at the same time, I almost can't quite get my head around it

Dark Sky - Drowned City - this one is a lush soundscape of melody and synths which then goes into a grooving beat which has so much power and weight, yet still maintains the lush melodies. When that beat hits, I just tune out from the rest of the world completely.

Distance - Fallen (Vex'd Remix) - this probably (to me at least) has the most weight of any track I know. It's hard to describe the feeling I get when I hear it, but it's something strong, and it makes me want to do anything BUT work.

Just taken a listen and the Lung remix by Kryptic Minds is AMAZING! :)

What headphones are you using at work that any of those tunes have real weight behind them?

I use the Smile Jamaica in-ear headphones from House of Marley they are pretty good. really good bass on 'em.

I've never used them myself so I could be wrong, but I'd imagine you're missing out on about half of the bass in 'Rain' using earbuds of any sort

I have the over ear Positive Vibration ones too and i would say that the bass is probably better on the in-ear one's. :D
