Bloc 2012 will hopefully make them realise the error of their ways and move it back to Butlins/somewhere with accommodation. It's such a shame they've made it basically just a glorified warehouse party for Londoners

it is fucked up, london was a shit place to move it as well, especcially so close to the olympics. should've kept it southwest.

gonna be full of bloody londoners now (no offence to anyone from london, i find you're all very nice individually but when you get together... fuck me)

even so, the lineup is already looking incredible.

Pretty tempted to go, better than spending the same £100 odd on SW4 and they did some crazy shit at Glastonbury. Also the 5 tickets for the price of 4, making it £75 each is even better!

ye but accommodation in London so close the the Olympics will bump it up loads, plus at Bloc it was so relaxing knowing that there was a fresh bed 5 minutes walk away, having to travel round London up/coming down will be a nightmare

To be honest I didnt know about it last year! its handy for me as I have friends that live there so I guess its a fair point to be pissed off if you dont and have to stay in a £70+ a night hotel!

ye i would definitely go if i had friends relatively close. I think the other problem will be it opens at 2pm iirc, but that's a long time to hang around, and popping back to the hotel isn't an option. I dunno, I think for £75 and if you have somewhere free to stay it is sick, other than that not so much

Last year was so fucking sick, I really was gutted when I saw it wasn't somewhere with accommodation & bloc tv...

Probs wouldn't be going this year but got a mates yard to stay at so got a ticket, still though, hope it goes back to old bloc next year because london is shit.
