What with the instrumental side of our scene forever growing and generating more attention than ever before, it has given the chance for producers in Grime to create more of a name for themselves now than what has been possible in the past. In whatever genre that includes MCs, it will always be the vocalists that undoubtedly gets the majority of the limelight, however things are drastically beginning to change and now were starting to see the producers getting the true recognition they deserve.

In light of what we mentioned above it seems the producer Mister Snowman has that exact same thought as he has been hard at work compiling a double CD release entitled ‘Power Of The 16′, featuring productions from 16 different producers, hence the name of the CD, of both Grime and Dubstep. Mister Snowman has been making music for over 13 years now, but first earned a name for himself when Lethal B asked him to do a remix for ‘Pow’. Since then he has worked with high profile artists such as Professor Green, P Money, Blacks and Dot Rotten, to name just a few. On top of this he is also the producer/manager for the Birmingham Grime crew Invasion Alert and is a member of the production camp Fiction Artists.

Each CD from this release contains 16 instrumentals from 16 different producers from all over the UK including the likes of Spooky, Dexplicit, Mister SnoWman himself, Mr Mitch, Royal-T, Macabre Unit, Stinkahbell and many more. This CD has got enough hits to keep any Grime and Dubstep fans happy and for that reason plus others mentioned above we see this as one of the best instrumental releases to come out for a very long time.
