Been lurking here for years but never signed up.

Anyway, I decided to try and recreate the midrange basses from Skrillex's First of the Year, and ended up making an almost entire recreation in FL Studio.
Some of the notes are wrong, I haven't mastered it or EQ'ed it properly, and there's no sub-bassline. This is all because I don't care enough about it to do so (would rather do it on my own tracks).

I'm not really sure how I pulled it off honestly. All of these soundbanks are ones I've created over the past year, and applied various effects to to see what I could make with them. Started saving them and eventually came to having a pretty decent amount.

I realized one day that I had created many synths that sounded somewhat similar to Skrillex's, and I decided to try to recreate this track first since it has such a simple arrangement (overall). Next I'm gonna try to recreate his remix of "Levels" because that one is even more simple.

Oh, and of course I have used the WOW filter for many of the effects. VERY useful tool if you haven't found it already.

as much as i hate the skrill, your sounds seem to be pretty spot on, good job, it seems to be quite the task
