Anyone has any experience with these mixers? They seem to be USB mixers and soundcards with the possibility of return from the software to use analogue EQs / FXs. Anyone tried the FXs? How are the knobs / faders? I looking for suggestions in that price range, I'll be mixing dubs mostly, maybe a bit of dubstep now and then.
Thank you very much.

Re: A&H Zeds
they are pretty good, but they are a live thing only. usb out is just the main stereo out
Re: A&H Zeds
I have a Zed-Fx...
The pre-amps are great - nice and clean. FX aren't bad either - pretty good for onboard. I guess it depends on your needs on whether any given mixer is right for you - but A&H pretty much are guaranteed quality.

Re: A&H Zeds
Solid front end mixers for sure. Have a zed10 for live stuff.

Am in the market, was just in the literal market grabbing on the faders and what not, felt a little jankier than I was hoping for, didn't test out the sound. Was looking for an opinion on these for working double duty live/in the studio computer off sessions, sufficient quality to make recordings, recordings for what purpose, no purpose really? Mixwizards a step up in terms of sound quality?
Bottom lining this, could the zedfx be made in the same factory behringer is using?

hmmm - can't comment on faders - cos mine is all pots, but the pots are solid. great feel and just the right amount of smooth resistance to turn.
i can't fault the build quality in the slightest - comparing them to behringer is a bit of a surprise. what model were you testing?
for live it is top notch - for studio, my zed10fx is certainly good enough soundwise - but the routing is a little limited (again, more aimed towards live gig routing).

Re: A&H Zeds
zed12fx/zed14, felt like the mixwizards too were like really loose in the faders, just didn't have that solid legit feel. I understand at this price point you're not going to get a tank, but still... bahh, anywayz.
Re: A&H Zeds
hmm- that is odd. are faders a must for you? cos I really like the pots on the zed10fxnowaysj wrote:zed12fx/zed14, felt like the mixwizards too were like really loose in the faders, just didn't have that solid legit feel. Re: A&H Zeds
They are not a must, but it is a factor. I like to do quick fader pulls and shit doesn't work so hot with knobs, at least not with those zed10fx knobs. Again, whateves,
, I'm just being picky and stupid as an excuse not to pick one up, masking the real reason, I just don't have the scrilla right now
