iGrade aka Rossi B releases his debut EP on Subdepth

As one half of UK garage pioneer's Rossi B and Luca, Rossi B has been at the forefront of the Grime/Garage/Bass music scene since 2002. Working with labels and institutions such as BBC 1Xtra, Rinse FM, Mixmag, Planet Mu and co founding the seminal 'Heavy Artillery' imprint.
iGrade is Rossi B's moniker for his latest output and his first solo release on Subdepth as the label continues to develop in scope. With artist's such as Biome, Arkist, HxdB, Numan, DFRNT, Swarms, Dom Hz, OH91 and Keyed Up, Subdepth has a wide back catalogue of ground breaking grime/bass releases and this is the latest chapter in the story.
Lead track 'Dead' bounces in on a 4/4 kick laced with phasing rave synth’s and trademark ragga vocal chops. But its all about the drop as the bass-line rolls in to lift you back to a truly authentic garage sound, deceptively simple yet effective. Already tearing up dance floors on the Uk Bass music scene 'Dead' is a tune set to do more damage as the current renaissance of the old skool UKG movement Rossi B helped to shape, continues to grow.'French Kiss' is a more experimental cut with a chopped vocal hook which darts and wraps around the tough sub heavy groove. Seamlessly blurring the lines between rave, grime, juke, house and techno 'French Kiss' is sure to strike a cord with fans of Addison Groove, Pearson Sound, NYTA and Hessle Audio. 'Get Away' brings back Rossi's signature garage swagger fused with futuristic sound scape's and loose swung beats. Pitched vocal snippets and suspended organ stabs set the mood ready for the bass hook to inject the flava, all underpinned by the rich timbre of the drums.
