British Youth Culture

Post by anglophile » Tue Feb 14, 2012 5:44 pm

I'm an American undergrad writing my senior thesis on British youth culture, particularly music, television, and fashion tastes of 16-25 year olds.

If you're British and at least 16 years old I would love it if you could take the time to complete my 10-15 minute survey. All of my contact information is in the survey, so you may contact me on here or via email if you have any questions.

Thanks so much in advance!

You are better of posting that on grime forums or a skins facebook group tbh.

that is the worst survey i have ever seen mate, ask actual questions, you basically just said to describe what me and my friends look like. awful
Unless he's changed it since your comment I really can't see what you're moaning about. The survey asks perfectly valid questions relative to the subject...

@OP: I filled it in, hope it helps. I should probably tell you there's a little problem with the question about parents' education - you can't select the same education for both parents. For example both my parents went to college but I can only select that level of education for one parent because if I try to select it on the other parent it simply switches the ticked box from one parent to the other.

I filled it in, dropped you my e-mail too because im nice like that.

I've been awake for too long so sorry if some of the responses i gave were a bit shit and informal (i know its anonymous but i reckon you can put the time of this post and the time of the submission together and figure it out)

Hope i helped. :4:

just a heads up, the question about what your parents level of academic study doesn't allow them to have the same level

Done, maybe you could change the question about different social groups to get a better answer.

If youth British culture is anything like it is depicted on "Skins" then you are going to have one hell of a thesis.
