Its good, but it doesnt have that distinction between everything else... nothing that makes the song stand out.

Valid point, but the track doesn't try to be anything new either.
It's called The NY House Track simply because that's just what it is.
Not wanna bash on any producers around here, but there isn't much original stuff up here anyways...

Of course many people dont have originality, think of it like this:
If everyone had originality, there would be so many people on iTunes and Amazon that listeners wouldnt be able to pick.
Theres gotta be the lower ends of the music industry, cause they keep it alive.

Maybe I came off wrong, cause what you say is exactly what I meant.
The tunes not very original but it's very good. It's dance music, you know. It doesn't have to be revolutionary.
Don't know about digital release.

apart from the fact that 90% of people who make house cant make anything that sounds half as original as Gerd

Typical New York style get down house very reminiscent of Kerri to my ears (that's a compliment btw)
Feeling this remix of the NY Stomp flip: Soundcloud
Reminds me of something Mosca would do. Would've fit in on his techno inspired release on 3024 a while back.
