Big tune! was listening to this the other day as it goes.

gets played quite regurarly in my sets... fits perfectly to one of my dubs big up! chune this one!

Sure there is more Data & Cell dubstep out there,

Antenna,
Heaven's Descent ,
Ronin,
Dialtone,
Reverence,
Some of them are up on my Soundcloud page still.

There are more tracks I did with Data but they don't have my name on them.

Only other tune released under Data & Cell was Antenna on Data's Prologue E.P

Love the vocal samples in this one, it still in my shelves. Great bit of dubtechno style vibe going through it as well.

Seriously? Wow, I've never actually listened to you until right this second, I remember seeing this release but I slept on it. However, now that I listen to it, I've immediately fallen in love. I'm so happy this thread got bumped because this one is going straight in my favorites. Hopefully I can still find the vinyl.

Also, that's so crazy. You seriously never got paid? Why is that, what happened? Haven't you tried to contact Tempa? I know some people say "Uhh well it's not about the money anyway, you're in it for the wrong reasons." But the fact of the matter is, if you agree to something (which Tempa obviously did come to some agreement with you regarding the release of your tunes and a monetary settlement.) then those agreements should be met and finalized with integrity and honesty. I wan't to hear more from you! Nice little melodic bits are my thing.

Also, I'm realllllllly not feeling the tunes on the Seifer & Surgical soundcloud, I feel like you're wayyyyyy ahead of those dudes in production skill.

Re: Tempa My thoughts exactly YOU WANT TO HEAR CRAZY?? THEN READ ON:

I have contacted Tempa and was told that they had already paid Data for our track, However Data told me in the only conversation I have had with him in Three years, that the label had not paid him anything and that they NEVER EVEN SIGNED A CONTRACT WITH US!!! I certainly never signed anything.....(He also told me he has NEVER been paid for ANY of his other tunes either).

I will be pursuing ownership of our track as soon as PRS and I can figure what the hell is going on... (and who is lieing)

I really want to get some more of my tracks out. I've been treated so badly by the label and more importantly my friend, that is why I've NEVER posted anywhere promoting myself or the track anywhere , and I stopped making tunes for a long while

I have always felt that If I started whining about what had happened I'd just make myself look bad (and for letting it happen)...

But truth is I've felt down about making tunes after being completely cut out the picture, even having tunes I worked on with Data actually released to the major labels WITHOUT MY NAME ON... least of all not getting payment... what would you do???

Data and I never even had a 'falling out'... We had been making dnb tracks together Data since 1997- >without success i must add.> Untill in 2008, Data sent our new dnb tracks to labels and got them signed in his name without telling me, and then argued that I had no right to be included in the credits as he had done more work on them than I had.

Even though we had launched the Subliminal Label together, like our 10 year music partnership, those plans immediately fell by the wayside and Data went off to do his own thing taking our tracks with him. Later he told me to "just forget about our dubstep tracks... no one wants them..."

So it was a pure fluke that Doors was signed to Tempa >out of the blue. Data said the credits had to say 'featuring Cell' instead of 'Data & Cell' and that he had already agreed to that so it couldn't be changed...

It needed a b side so he took a peice of music we had worked together on at the time of making doors of perception with the intention of it being a complementary b side track to Doors, he filled it out a bit and named it 'Leaves' , after he sampled the John Harris lecture I had sent him. irony completely lost on him, he went on to declare he had written the whole thing and it would only have his name on the b side track. Even though the sample in the track is all about being Ego-less!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
