Question about sampling / ers

I was just wondering something about sampling / re sampling, when I make a synth, I'll create the massive patch, add some flanger, automation, EQ, reverb, distortion etc (not necessarily in that order), then I'll bounce it to .mp3 and chuck it back into logic on an audio track, add any necessary effects, rinse repeat... Is this a horrific way to do it? hahaha

What's the difference between doing it this way and loading into a sampler? Is there any benefots to loading it into a sampler? It seems like a bad thing to me 'coz you cant cut it up and re arrangr it likr you can with an audio file, 'coz as soon as the midi starts in the sampler the sample starts again :/

save / bounce down the track ( stem ) as wav. (24bit) rather than a mp3

You can set the sampler to play the complete loop by turning off the sample start.
A sampler also enables you to use the rendered file on different notes.
So you aren`t just stuck with the rendered loop but rather a loop that is mapped across the keyboard.

^ Always bounce to highest quality possible in the form of a .WAV!
