Personally, i think all of this is a dream. FFX shit, if you know what i mean. I just can't shake the feeling that one day i'm going to wake up, or something. I know that's not exactly original, so sue me.
Anyway, any ninjas think they have a much better answer? As I'm curious to know what you think.

To any kind of alternative-theory to life, other than science. I know some people believe religion, some people don't believe anything, and some people believe science. I go with science most of the time, but when i start thinking of Alternate-theories, this is the one that captures me, time and time again.

There is no alternative theory to life, it's just life. There is no one pulling the strings, nothing behind the curtain, no lizards on the moon - the truth is that life, and indeed the world, is rudderless, drifting through the universe without anyone at the helm.

hahaha
I like the idea more of a 'video game' which falls in line with the perception=reality idea and intentions affecting results etc. Can be really usefyl to think that people only exist because of the meaning you grant them or 'why is this person in my life?' etc
Also the idea of there being 'levels' of awareness and self-knowledge that you can move up through

I have this thing now - where if something is really bothering me....
I don't just get emotional about it - (well - I do get wound up)
but I try to figure out why or what it means...
sometimes the answer is revealed overnight - sleep on it...
sometimes in 2 days - other times it can be 2 or 4 years before the entirety of it is revealled...
I'm struggling right now with a handful of issues - but that's what it is...
"Buddha" - A Buddha - lived his entire life before he became enlightened...
enlightened enough to feel peace/happiness - in watching a river flow...

I've been having a shit load of 'life glitches' lately, and Deja Vu is creeping me out all the time. I really doubt its brain tumor, should get checked though.

I totally agree with you, man. I'm just interested as to what others hve to say on the subject.

I guess what we call reality is what we percieve as reality through our limited senses.
But no, this isn't a dream.

I don't see why the two ideas have to be mutually exclusive.

Denouncement of an alternative theory of reality whilst at the same time believing reality is a dream seems fairly polarised to me.

Reality is what you make of it, trust me. The mind is a powerful tool, and you can 'hack' it into believing a lot of things. It's possible to bend the fabric of matter if you want to enough, I have done personally.
Fuck whatever lies ahead, be happy.

I'm not even sure I know what reality means.
We certainly don't have the "big picture" and may never, but as far as anything that actually matters goes we're thrust into an experience of a few decades of human existence at a certain point in time due to some freak coalescence of space junk, billions of lonely years in galactic isolation and billions of years of organic evolution... consciousness was a gift given by none and chosen by none, those of us found in this bizarre situation just happen to be the (un)luckiest collections of atoms in the known universe.
...and then it just stops.
