birmingham

hi im new here [waves hello to everyone] ive just got into dubstep recently when i saw some at the custard factory in birmingham and im wondering if anyone knows if there are any dubstep nights going on there, or if any events will be happening soon.

Hopefully something will be happening quite soon. There are a couple of people trying to sort it out.

thats place(BHAM) seems a little rank to me..ventured there on fri to a club called G2 i think...nothing to write to home about that place...shite security... lots of dodgy carachters hanging about also in the small hours outside which i didnt like the look of...dont know about other places such as the custard factory..though i know snares refused to play there last year cus they didnt supply the right equipment he required :(

yeah there isnt really a good dubstep scene in birmingham (although there could be if someone sorted it out) usually its just like 1 room in a club with dubstep instead of an actual clubnight dedicated to it.

Skream and I are playing at Medicine bar this August- dont know who else is on the bill yet, but I've played Custard Factory before and the sound system there is well tidy. Looking forward to it!

Snares is really anal about his equipment, needs a specific kind of shitty CD-Js etc. He comes across like a real prick if you read his technical rider, it's actually quite amusing.
