I got the Beyerdynamics 770 PRO and they are comfy/realllllllllllly flat-sounding. I'm using them right now for producing/mixing.

My friend has the Audiotechnicas MT-50 and it isn't that good compared to the ones I have.
So get the Beyerssssssss

I bought my DT990 for $185 off amazon
$150 seems fine.
Is it for the 80 ohm or 250 ohm?

Do you have a suitable hedphone amp to power the 250 ohm?
if not get the 80 ohm

I've owned the ATH-M50's for a few years. I bought them off craigslist for $100. I love them. I don't know how flat they are, but I'm used to them. My current method of producing is going into the studio, recording a load of stuff, then arranging and mixing along the way with those headphones back at home. Eventually I go back to the studio and throw the mix over the monitors. The last 2 tracks I finished I only made subtle changes after listening on my monitors and in the car. Whether or not my mixes are any good is for someone else to decide, but I feel like those headphones aren't leaving me with many surprises when I listen on another system.

Then I`d say go for the 250 ohm it`ll sound sweet with the CmoyBB.
