Massive: Gradual automation changes with synced LFO Rates.

Hi,
I am trying to get gradual automation changes between synced LFO rates/ratios with Massive in Logic. For example, I'll draw a 45% line between a synced lfo rate of 1/8 to 1/12 over a quarter note in Logic, but upon playback, there is an an abrupt change in the "wobble" from 1/8 to 1/12. I would like a GRADUAL change between the two rates. Is this possible using synced lfo ratios in Massive? When turning off sync and using free LFO rates, there is always a gradual change between 2 automation rate points. However, I have no clue how to translate the free LFO rates in Massive to units such as 1/8T or 1/16 for my projects.
I have another plugin I use called SubBoomBass, and there are gradual changes even between synced lfo ratios, so I'm hoping this is possible with Massive as well...

is the lfo retriggering upon each note?

You can't
In others synths (the ones that display the LFO frequency) you can calculate the two frequency points and do an unsynced sweep between them. In Massive, you have to do it by ear, it's possible, but it's a bit of too much work.

UNSYNCED SWEEP BETWEEN TWO SYNCED LFO RATES! yeah that's what I want in massive! these abrupt changes sound so robotic and lame... the automation change is done across one held note, and it's an abrupt change, so it must be retriggering?
I know there's a calculator to calculate free lfo rates, BUT, in Massive, the lfo rate is a percentage of 100%? of what though? I need to know this to "calculate" the delay time manually to create my sweet sweeps...

I think you should try it by ear. Alternate between SYNC and UNSYNC and keep changing the rate until it sounds the same. But, I seriously advise you to try another synth for this lol.
Btw, turn off Pos in the synced LFO. Won't be gradual but won't jump when you change speed.

What is the lfo free rate a percentage of? 100% of what? if i could get that basic info, i could calculate the synced rates myself. POS unchecked still sounds jumpy to me...

I think it doesn't mean anything. The LFO Speed is not linear so it aint % * max value.

How do dubstep producers usually automate their wobble basses?

a lot draw in their own lfo's with automation clips
