Anyway, UN is fucked now - they can't very well condone his election with the reports of mass vote rigging going on, but they need Russia onside for the Syria situation...

Ya my bad, I thought your post was in response to one above it.
I'm kind of excited to see what this will bring though. Not only do they need Putin for the Syria situation, but he could probably help settle Iran too.
