ILL BLU (Hyperdub, Numbers and Rinse FM)

Ill Blu have been smashing the UK Funky scene since it started. Productions such as Blu Magic, Dragon Pop and Bellion got people's heads turning including the Hyperdub head honcho Kode9 and Numbers boss Jackmaster who quickly signed them up. Their regular show on Rinse FM as well as another forthcoming EP on Hyperdub shows how highly rated these guys really are.

MONKI (Rinse FM)

Monki who has only been DJing for the last three years has shown just how big she has become in that time. With a weekly Rinse FM show at just 20 years old she is now considered a prime source for the showcasing of new talent from UK underground music as well as from abroad. She has introduced us to the likes of the Parisian Manaré and has become the DJ for upcoming producers to send their tunes to! Monki is set to play at a number of festivals this summer including bestival. Spinning everything from House, Techno, UK Funky and Bass Music, Monki always has the newest dubs from labels such as Loefah's SWAMP81. With production in the pipeline expect big things from Monki, watch this space!

TEMPLE (AkaAkaRoar)

Temple began playing as one half of local breaks duo The Shoe Shufflers. Since then he's shaken off the breaks tag and mutated into one of the most reliably crowd pleasing DJs around. He’s warmed up for likes of Joy Orbison, Roska, Mala, Oneman and Ben UFO and holds down a residency spot at Aka Aka Roar. Temple is one of our favourite Brighton DJs because his mixing is easily some of the tightest around and he always plays with a smile on his face! With productions forthcoming keep your eyes peeled for him, big things are coming.

Rex (Trap Magazine)

A staple on Bristol's vibrant music scene with his long running Signal parties as well as residencies at the massive Shit The Bed. He is also responsible, as co-founder, for bringing us the current Bass music bible, Trap Magazine. Come and catch his Brighton debut as he lays down some bass heavy, UK Funky beats.
