If you could get decent headphones for £15 people wouldnt be spending around £200 on them :)

With £15 I would fuck the headphones idea off and go have a few beers instead if you only want something decent

To be fair, I don't really drink.

Wasting money on beer is a nono. My dear old parents refused last year to 'waste' £200 on headphones.

You won't get anything decent for £15. Save your money.

Generally lol'd.

But anyway I squeezed out another tenner and managed to get a pair of half-decent Phillips. I had to sell Skyrim mind you. -_-

Whilst cheap headphones suck, there's a lot to be said for knowing your headphones/speakers well. Just use them to listen to all sorts of music as well as production, and you will subconsciously get a feel for how they sound, and how your tracks should sound on them.

Don't get me wrong, mixdowns on them will probably translate horribly to almost anything else, but for most production work you'll be fine.

Sucks you had to sell Skyrim though, I recently forced myself to remove it from my production rig! :(

I sang the intro of Bohemian Rhapsody when I eventually bought myself to think of even selling it.

Not gonna be the best in the world, but for £15, worth it.

Yeah probably the better ones in this price range, but they still suck very bad. Used to have these years back, then I upgraded to some 100$ Philips, cant recal the model, which was huge improvement. Compared to my current pair, DT990's, the philips sucked too, so go figure ;-)

Those Sennheisers are noise-cancelling (read it on Argos shit) I managed to go grab a pair of these.

Done wonders for me, though I've had them for 2 hours or so.
