The production forum has been a beacon of light.
A rather obnoxious, loud, neon, blinking beacon.

Skrillex won some grammys. Brostep is generally now accepted at DSF as a sub-genre or flavor of dubstep. Kids still want to learn how to make dungeon. Vengeance sample packs are still being overused. Reeses are making a strong comeback.

sorry to hear about the divorce
regardless of the causes, it's always a shitty and expensive process
Anyone I recognize as having been here before I showed up, I automatically award some kind of elder status, no matter their age
Ur definitely one of them in my book

take good care

i just came back too. i may not make much dubstep these days..... but fuck. this is the most active production forum i can find anywhere. pretty good crew too. what i like to hear is that a LOT of people here are making a lot of different types of music. maybe when he go off our separate directions and then come back to touch on dubstep, some sparkly new shit'll happen and it'll become new again. or something.

Fix'd, it'd be nothing without the people posting, this forum has some of the strongest community vibes Ive gotten of any discussion board online, everyone has everyone on AIM/bookface/text, something very chill about that, and something really cool about living in an age where this sorta sense of community is possible, technology is nuts.

The production forum is more based on everyone enjoying the genre then everyone writing it, I think thats good though, this boards put me onto alot of different genres/ect I might not have otherwise got into

I just got the rig set up at the new apartment. I have a lot more time on my hands because I don't get to see my kids as often :-/ No girlfriend yet. Back on the local dj circuit already. Putting the band back together so to speak. I am sure I'll be making my own brand of dubstep again but after my last set with these chicks begging me to play the same damn Skrillex tunes over and over again... I give up.

Nothing big really, just getting back into the groove. I played DNB the last two times. April 25th is my birthday party at the BBT. It's going to be a big DNB tag all night. April 7th tentatively there is a party in Yompton. Kind of an annual thing we do back there. I play at the Z-Lounge a lot but it's usually last minute gigs.
