The kick/snare are very weak and are almost getting lost under the vocal at times...they could both do with beefing up a bit. Hat programming is also very boring and repetitive. The mid range bass sound you've got sounds very drone-y and lacks any real sonic textures to it...preset?

Melody isn't too bad, but as I'm not familiar with the original I've got no way of knowing whether you wrote that yourself or sampled it.
