Could do with more sub to balance out the screamers. The kick could have a lot more weight as well and the snare's tail is a bit too long. Overall the mix sounds a bit flat.

Diggin' the sonudscape and atmosphere though. Some great ideas going on there. Keep it up!

Easy. I don't.

I add a slight limiter on the master channel and cut the extreme lows and highs when needed. That's all, basically.

In other words, I mix to the best of my ability and leave it at that, because my ears are nowhere near the level it takes to master a track yet.

Cool man, Do you eq your stuff, Does FL have a "Mastering Rack" built into it, Like reason.. I find that alot of the sounds coming out of FL are already nicley polished.. so I was just curious if you build things from scratch.

Equalization is the most basic part of any mix, so yes, of course I do.

As far as comparison with Reason goes, the setups are very different. For a basic idea of how stuff works, a screenshot. (The mixer with VST effect plugins for various purposes).

And yes. I make my sounds from scratch.

As far as the final sounds go, I think it's not really about the DAW; the major ones are all pretty much on par; but rather the producer, their workflow and efficiency when using a particular DAW.
