The Freeware Appreciation Thread

Post by karmacazee » Wed Mar 14, 2012 8:56 pm

This is the thread for Freeware :U:

I've used this plugin on every single tune I've made.

Plus Dub delay 2 and 3. They rock, very pleasing sound to them.

I'm a big fan of freeware because I teach music for a living, and freeware provides the perfect platform for people to access computer music for absolutely no cost, and it also provides a consistent platform to teach with, because anyone with a computer can access them, so no system conflicts occur when sharing projects.

I am a massive fan of freeware, so share your favourite plugins/developers, and why you also love freeware :D

Also, everyone should check this thread

well i guess i'm a bit of a freeware junkie too (dirty lies, i'm absolutely crazy for freeware). although i'm also becoming a cheap hardware slut, which is the absolutely worst thing for your room.

if i had to pick my favorite freewarei it would be everything by Variety Of Sound for effects, and Shortcircuit 1, Charlatan and SQ8L for instruments.

Love that SQ8L, don't understand your fascination with Charlatan. Maybe someday.

Arc-Dev delay. Think the company is gone though.

Totally agree re this threads purpose. Such quality stuff for free. Amazing world it is now.

oh yes, that too!that one and NastyDLA are a combination that can hardly be beaten.

and the thing with Charlatan, I don't know, I just love everything about it.

:6:

the filters and the oscs are absolutely to my taste, snappy envelopes, simple layout... it's an awesome little synth.

Not really that I know of.
It`s pretty unique.

Just download it and test it.
From the first note you`ll hear the quality.
