Are you a student? If so then get the student discount and hell yes. If not and you have the money then still yes. Pro Q is an amazing eq that is very transparent and the color it does give when boosting sounds excellent. I know pro C is an excellent comp as well. Never used the limiter though. But yeah fabfilter makes some fuckig quality plugs.

have you ever used saturn? or has anyone here, im wondering how good that is / how useful. Im not all that experienced a producer but I immagine a multiband distortion unit might be useful to make those really good dubstep / electrohouse bass sounds... Am I right?

saturn is awesome im demoing it now and just got my student id approved. i love the nice warm saturation it has. you can really achieve some amazing results with it. i have kombinat multiband distortion and its a lot more messy than saturn. im buying saturn asap.

Pro-L may be one of, if not THE best limiter out there right now. My opinion, of course.

+1 from my side. I've been demoing the fab filter stuff a lot ATM and this is most likely my next purchase for the studio. Not used the eq or compressor that much but Saturn is amazing for bringing life into sounds. One of the most pleasing distortion units I've used in a while.

Im excited, I just started the trial the other day. Im going to try and purchase as much of these plugins as possible after the trial is up. Do you guys have any advice on good ways to implement saturn? I have almost no experience with it, or muliband distortion units now that I think of it.

I've not used saturn yet but check out the fabfilters demo video on youtube.
Seems to have loads of good pointers to help you get started with it

FabFilter are by far my favourite set of plugins. By far. Saturn is great fun to use, and a nice addition to their line. Kinda like ohmicide but loads easier to use - just drag and drop to modulate anything.

Only played with the presets on the demo but I guess just pick the one that improves the sound the most then tweak to perfection
