Antarctica

Post by B_90 » Fri Mar 16, 2012 9:51 pm

Hi guys I'm MC Benny,

Does anyone know any realistic way to get to Antarctica? It is my dream to see the end of the world and the silly Penguins that waddle around it. I would happily lick the boots clean of a scientist out there as often as he wishes to get my ticket there.

If your really keen; this :

http://www.antarctica.ac.uk/employment/ ... /index.php

You can apply to be a field assistant or technician and work at one of the bases with little or no experience though contracts usually last up to six months.

Wonder if it's for U.K. citizens only.

I'd work a 6 month contract there for sure.

They go to the tip of Patagonia. Been there with a friend once, there's nothing but chill wind and dry soil. Bought some really cool traditional coats with alpacas all over it.

Deaf considering working in the Arctic or Antarctica after school. (Most likely the Arctic as I live in Canada still.)

How do you think MC Benny's rap skills will hold up against the hardcore Antartican MC's?

Everyone has their own interpretation of what is amazing and I've heard the exact opposite of sooo many people. Plus I am obsessed with penguins!

I'd love to do that job. Shame I'm neither a qualified scientist or somebody with years of mountain climbing experience.

Although it's something I've always wanted to get into, maybe I'll start when I have some money.
