Re: New Dubstep tracks looking for some feedback
about trainsmission: percussion is just kick snare, making it excedingly boring. the intro is very repetitive and after the drop all of the noises seem like youve just watched youtube videos of how to make dubstep.
I think you need to listen to more dubstep tbh, kinda seems like you dont really have a feel for it, check out the production forums and have a listen to people like Coki, Pinch, Vex'd & Mala, that will give you a bit more of an understanding of the sounds that go into dubstep

All that melts away when the lights are down and the bass is up.

Re: New Dubstep tracks looking for some feedback
For some reason I can't play transmission, but from what I hear in redneck, I can gather that you really should be using other percussive elements in there besides the kick and snare. I'm personally very fond of melodics, so dubstep without any mid/high synth in the registry lose my attention rather quickly, my ears wanted to hear some reggae chords in there. I love the double-time section shortly after the 2:00 mark!
Check out my latest if you get the chance!

@ OP lose the yay sound plase or spice it up. more percussion please, drum fills are always a good idea, the mix sounds a little dry to my ears, that snare needs more pesence in my opinion. actually quite like the heavy kick but your synth patches can't keep up with that heavyness, some eqing might do wonders.
Here's what I sound like

Re: New Dubstep tracks looking for some feedback
You need to listen more closely to dubstep beats and pay close attention to everything going on between kick and snare hits. There's loads of empty space between the kick and a snare that need to be be (at least partially) filled with percussive activity.
Imagine this is your drum sequencer:
K - - - S - - - K - - - S - - - .
Even something as simple as replacing those dashes with hi-hats will fill up the beat, although it would get rather dissinteresting shortly. Experiment with combinations of hats, clicks, etc. Eq's and filters, triplets, swing, drum loops with high pass filters... Just general mucking around till you get it busy in-between the fundamental kick/snare.
And when we say 'bring up' or 'bring in front' anything we generally mean make it louder or otherwise increase it's presence in the mix. Which can be accomplished by raising the snare samples amplitude/volume applying compression with makeup gain (recommend you do some reading about it first), layer it with other snare like sounds like claps or rimshots or even other snares.
Good luck! Hope this clears things up!

With enough dedication and practice all but the most tone-deaf can produce whatever they want. Dubstep is no exception. Why don't you try your best at covering an dubstep song first? It'll give you an idea as to how to create your own, the way they are structured, what the beats sound like, etc.

Re: New Dubstep tracks looking for some feedback
You know... those chords are atonal in comparison to the track, but I like it! I think some more 'build up' elements leading up to 2:30 would be nice... plus some percussive element like a ride cymbal to set the section apart. Just my 2 cents! I'm enjoying watching this grow.
Re: New Dubstep tracks looking for some feedback
so just add some rides and a build up to 2:30 then we are there
