I had a crush on this guys at work...
and so I went to talk to him one day in his office...

I walked in - sat down and the lights started flickering...
then I was hit with this vision of a book flying open
and thousands of blank pages flying out of it...

I was sat there in a trance

and then I just stood up and walked out

I wonder what he thought.

I bet he thought I was a retarded girl magic god zombie or something.

If you managed to maintain silence throughout, then I'd probably think about cutting your losses. If you at least had a giggle about the lights, you haven't done a major fail here... it's actually not a bad opener, nice and memorable - "there must have been something in the air that day, the Gods were trying to tell us something"

Next time just use your superpowers to cut the lights completely and just jump on him!
