PROPER: MC Drift's Birthday!
A decade ago this weekend, MC Drift celebrated his 28th Birthday at The Dog Star, Brixton. Sets were played by Luke Envoy (Hotflush), and DJ Hugo (SPA) with Drift on mic duties... it was an epic night, although it ended with Drift's S&M Dirt Bike Classic being stolen outside Mass, Brixton.
A decade on, the setting and the genres may have changed, but the mission is the same; to brock out, get wild and get mash up! (And hopefully not get mugged by a crackhead).
