I searched for this and I didn't find it posted anywhere so I picked up a copy of computer music yesterday cos I seen komonazmuk had a masterclass video in it.
Haven't watched the whole thing yet, cos its
2 & 1/2 hours long! you might want to stock up on the pop corn before you watch it.
What I've seen so far looks really good thou, pretty sure the most of its just about mixing but he seems to go into a lot of detail.
Well worth the buy

Logic and a bit of Ableton.
I watched a bit of this masterclass yesterday but it didn't seem that amazing to me

Just sat through the whole 2.5 hours and it's excellent. It's very in depth and he goes over some very interesting points. Have gained some decent pointers.

In my opinion he goes into things waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to much! He totally blows keeping it simply out of the water! If i was starting out and watched this it would have scared the shit outta me and I would have run as far away from producing as possible! In fairness tho there are some good pointers but to try and listen through the mountain of information that he's trying to feed you is soooo painful!
I think i'm goin to stick to my Reso Masterclass

It's not aimed at people just starting out though, it's for everyone to take something from. Got to disagree with you there, he doesn't go into things too much imo, mixing is a huge subject and he covers a good deal of info. If your not interested in what he's saying then your gunna find 2.5 hours heavy! Personally I found the whole thing interesting, he seems like a really thorough guy and I think that can only be a good thing when talking about something in itself very detailed.
I dropped him a message to say cheers, for those that enjoyed the vid he said he may be doing more off his own back.

Yeah you know I had the same problem, no newsagents had it round me. I found a copie in the whsmiths in victoria, i know the one in oxford street does them too, you'd think it would be an easy to find mag. The smiths on my road seems to sell strictly fishing magazines.

I live in Hendon and literally every newsagents I go to have a copy.
I'd've said newsagents are your best bet.

Yep.

I have audio with mine.
You'l have to read on the sleeve and contact the people who put out the discs.
Slightly off topic but on the last CM issue, i watched Kissy Sell Out's Masterclass for just over an hour and then this awful white noise sound came in and it crashed. I emailed the support thing asking for a new disc and they just sent me a link to the last 15 minutes of the masterclass

I loved this masterclass so freaking much. The best I've ever seen.I didn't watch it all at once tho. After 20 minutes i had seen some stuff i wanted to try so i stopped and tried it the continued on the next day, i still have about 20 minutes to watch.
I ended up going the air windows route too. It was exactly what i was looking for I'm terms of simple, modular effects so I spent a bit of hard earned on picking up some of their plug ins. I also went the busscolours route. I like the concept that i now have to really think about my gain staging as the summing is no longer as transparent, colour is added at each point in the chain. Since watching it I've been inspired to finally make a template AND sort my library and it's still early days but I am loving it thus far.
The 520hz trick is magic.
What he says about spending time comparing every eq you have, and every compressor you have to train your ears is awesome advice too and something I've started working on.
Low passing drums at 12khz gives a sound i am really enjoying so I'm looking forward to working with that plenty more.
I was so over watching hour masterclasses to only gain a few things i wanted to implement into my own workflow/skill set but CM have finally delivered in providing a masterclass that really provides for more developed producers. Next level stuff.
