downloading plug ins on mac

whenever i do this when i go to open the download i get a message saying there is no default application specified to open it! what am i sposed to do here what should i use to open it as i aint got a FARKIN clue!!!

go to your username / library / audio / plugins

and drop the download there in the appropriate file (component, vst)

the sequencer will scan through these directories to see if there are new plugins (on startup or if u ask him to scan again)
