How do I remix without stems!!????

I've never done remixes before and I really want to get some vocals in my songs. How do i do that without stems and without the acapella version??? I've heard of phase cancellation but it always sounds shitty trying to remove it myself. Any help??

Phase cancellation then EQ is the only way I think

Look for a clean part of the track where the vocals can be heard and edit there.
For best results find an acapella.
And as the popular saying goes: "You can't take the flour out of the baked cake."

or just sampling.. depending on how featured the sourced audio is. a remix, by definition, is having a go at mixing the track's stems. u need to have them to mix them

I generally try to use an EQ or even multiple EQ's to strip the background sounds. Gernerally any instrumetals or drums left with the vocal are shrouded out by your own music.
