Last year was a big one for Kowton with a string of releases on labels such as Naked Lunch, Kassem Mosse’s Ominira imprint, Keysound, Peverelist’s new label Livity Sound and of course Idle Hands (also the record shop in Bristol he works in).
You can hear influence from Detroit, Chicago, Berlin and of course the UK in his sound but it is undoubtedly his own and one that represents fairly well the current state of the UK's genre defying electronic music scene.
