This for instance. I'm not a huge fan of Devlin, nor do I dislike him particularly, but his verses on this piss me off and seem there for the sake of it. It seems like he doesn't know how to approach the feel of the beat so he ends up sounding too hyped/energetic which is a shame. I wish there was a version without him.
Before anyone starts, I'm a massive fan of rap - and as I said I usually don't mind Devlin (not a hater). Anyone got any other examples?

If you like that trap shite that they try to pass off as quality. Trap is to me what brostep is to you.

Trap is worse than bro IMO. Even with the new kinda future trap (lol) that people like hudmo, lunice, Sinjin hawke etc. Do I can't get into it as much as I'd like.

everything has it's place imo, even bro
anyway, as far as this thread goes, the old clams instrumentals are way better on their own, without any of the rappers that he chooses to mess with. (aside from asap, maybe)

Definitely, Clams is ridiculous good. I'm glad he's gotten so much exposure, I'm God is next level business.
As far as trap goes, I like it and think it has it's place. In a set of Rustie, Joker, Hud Mo et al a bit of Waka Flocka goes down a treat, proper hype tunes

This. Although I will say that "bye" sounds pretty good with common on it.
Last doughnut of the night is fire, as is light my fire, along with every other track on the album.

Trap is great when you want to laugh. Lex Luger kills it most of the time. Groove St. Party, Round of applause, and Platinum are pretty awesome beats.
