What's up with Toast?

Let me start by saying,
I think Toast is fucking awesome. I normally don't like MC's but the man is definitely an exception. Brings great energy. I wish we could be friends so he could shout out my daily events on a mic and make them sound awesome.
But who is he? I've been listening to Youngsta for a few years now, and I understand that Toast is his right-hand man, but is that all there is to the guy?
Is he just Yunx's mate that hopped on a mic one day? Is there a deeper history to this man?
Does he produce under some moniker? He's at least gotta have a day job...
Are these dumb questions? I'm just clueless.

I always wonder about things like this as well. Like surely these guys don't make enough money from djing/producing to not work at all..selling tunes etc can't earn you enough money to pay off mortgages and the likes, and if they do have full time jobs how do they get time off on the reg to do gigs and travel the world..i dunno maybe they do earn enough cash moneys from making tunes to pay the bills etc if so these guys have got it sweet

He's an MC and top bloke, thats all you need to know.

all i can tell you is when i saw him mc at getdarker once he was telling us how he was dreading going to work at 5am. can't say i blame him, it was already 2am. that's some commitment so fair play to him!

Fair enough.
That's why I asked whether or not these were dumb questions. I kind of felt that it wasn't my place to inquire.
I just find it fascinating because I think his role is pivotal; but the personal definition of who he is to me seems too mysterious, which just fuels my intrigue.

Confessional: When I first started listening to dubstep and I heard a Youngsta Rinse show I thought Youngsta was Toast. I thought 'Man this guy is a good DJ, he can mix AND MC at the same time.....talent!'

Yeah. Just make sure you line up the time schedule on the site with your timezone, if you're not a native. I'm on the East Coast of the US so I tune in at like 7pm

The show airs every Monday from 11-1 GMT, which is 6-8 pm on the Eastern side of the US.
