Road Trip Discounts: We support dedicated people who have to drive longer distances for this show, so if you show your Buffalo, Syracuse, or out of state ID at the door, cover is $6 ($8 for unders).
REGARDING ID’S
-In our experience from the last show, security will just mark you as an ‘under’ if you only brought your out of state ID at the door and no other id, but as Roc City Bass we will just apply your cover charge according to the model we have set up, based on whatever single ID demonstrating age you do have for us. This is because the bar keeps a separate tally for “unders”, and we have to pay them that difference at the end of the night. If you don’t have any ID at all, you can get in but you will also just be marked as an “under”. Bottom line: bring your driver’s license/government ID if you have it, and if you’re out of state bring a second ID if you have it. Thanks.

Location: Club Montage, 50 Chestnut street, downtown Rochester NY.

Detailed Location info: the Entrance to the venue is via the doors under the illuminated marquee on Lawn street, near the corner of Chestnut and Lawn street. Lawn street is a one-way street that runs parallel to East avenue. Montage is basically in the same area and a block away from Javas coffee, the Eastman School of Music, and Manhattan Square Park. Montage is half a mile away from the East/Alexander intersection of Rochester.

Parking: Free parking along Lawn street (it will be evening, so metered parking is free). As you drive down Lawn street, passing the club and approaching Broadway street, you can also park for free in the lot that you will see on your right. If the lot is full, take a left on Broadway street and park in the East End Parking Garage, which begins on East and Broadway (Entrance on Broadway).

ROBYN CHAOS

Drum and Bass - UK - (Freak//Tech Freak//Metalheadz//Faith in Chaos//Big Riddim//Therapy Sessions)

Robyn Chaos got involved in drum and bass by total chance, the main reason she doesn't discount the theory of Destiny...She was accosted one day by a, then, up and coming Dj/Producer (now a very well known one), while on a London street after getting her "hair did", and was invited to the legendary Metalheadz Blue Note Sunday Sessions back in 1995 in Shoreditch London while on a year off after high school when 18 years old. All it took was one night listening to Doc Scott, Photek, Goldie, Peshay, and having never even heard of hard drum and bass back in her home in the US, she was instantly a smitten kitten and the love affair is still coursing strong through her veins!! Probably bordering on total obsession

She immediately enrolled herself in production courses, ultimately did a degree in Music at Westminster University in London, worked for both EMI and Universal, and coming from a live band/rock/blues background, transferred the knowledge and talent she had into the medium of Dance music. She met Dylan in 1999 and they immediately bonded over their love of music and all things "a bit Freaky". Influenced heavily from anyone from Billie Holiday, Stevie Nicks, to Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave, Ministry, NIN and Portishead gave Ms. Chaos the advantage of a limitless black hole of inspiration to draw from, which is apparant on her releases, such as the infamous Faith in Chaos "Possession" to "Requiem", "Lust", "The Suffering" and most recently "Rapture", alongside Audio and Dylan, which was a staple in many DJ's set on both sides of the "evil" spectrum! She is currently back in the studio, working on planned collaborations with Limewax, Technical Itch, Audio, Dylan (of course), The Panacea and more, drawing inspiration currently from the sounds of bionics, amazonian warrior women tribal battle chants, 80's electro hip hop, Lou Reed and Bowie and Exploding Plastix. (yes, seriously). With a mantra echoing to many of her "idols" such as Bjork, Kate Bush, Bowie...In Robyn Chaos, the magic of music/artistic expression is the ability to observe, feel, and articulate from all walks and sources, with influences apparent from her extensive and varied touring across the Globe.

Robyn Chaos is founder and Managing Director of the dark enthuasiasts DJ agency, Anger Management, tending to the diaries of artists such as Dylan, Technical Itch, The Panacea, Audio, Current Value, Counterstrike, Limewax, Cooh, Donny and more! She also organises "Therapy Session's" events Worldwide, personally seeing to each and every one, alongside local promotion teams who have become almost family. From the flagship event in London in 2003, Therapy Sessions is now a regular, award winning event in over 100 cities a year around the World from Ecuador to Sydney and everywhere in between, catering to up to 15,000 Freaks in one party!!

Robyn Chaos has blown up Worldwide, one of the most recognisable names in dark Drum and Bass, playing regularly (and now being flown every month from her base in Philadelphia USA, though soon to move back to the UK) all over Europe such as, Germany, France, Holland, UK, Belgium, Hungary, Slovakia, Portugal, Spain, Austria, Czech, Romania, The America's, Japan, South American, and Australian & New Zealand!! 2011 was insanely busy with a tour schedule of 8 months straight! Now in 2012, as well as working on tracks alongside Zardonic (currently number 5 in the Beatport DnB charts), Countrerstrike, The Panacea, Technical Itch, Axiom, Smyla and Audio / Pixelfist, she is continously touring across the globe and beginning her promotion of 10 Years of Therapy Sessions, to kick off from NYE 2013!


CONSCIOUS PILOT

Dubstep - PA - (Sub.FM//Section 8//Dubline)

Currently residing in Pennsylvania, Conscious Pilot is a Stateside Dubstep producer and DJ who is known worldwide for pushing some of the heaviest bass the scene has to offer! Early on as a Drum & Bass DJ he witnessed Dubstep's inception as it evolved from a dark vibe in London's UK Garage scene to it's very own genre of electronic dance music. Dubstep was born, and in 2005 he started pushing this energetic sub-bass driven madness to the masses. Currently with a popular radio show on the award winning Sub.FM, multiple chart topping releases on some of the most notorious labels in the industry, and renowned performances at major events Conscious Pilot provides his own freshly defined style of musical sustenance for this rapidly growing scene!

LOKI

One of the top bass djs in upstate NY, Loki has been playing Drum & Bass regionally for several years. Loki has been consistantly supporting dnb on many fronts including promoting shows, his energy filled dj sets, and an increasing appetite for drum and bass music production. Watch the ride evolve as with 90bpm bass music, drumstep, & half time beats invading his dnb sets creating mixes that unite dancefloors bringing lovers of new bass music (dubstep etc.) together with traditional dnb lovers. Loki has stepped up his promotional game as well over the last 12 months currently running his monthly event, The Dnb Monthly in Buffalo as well as hosting a series of one off events featuring international djs and producers on a semi monthly basis. Over the past year Loki has brought to Buffalo Crissy Criss, Marcus Visionary, A-Sides, Total Science, Greenlaw live, Subsonik, Gremlinz, Mr. Brown, Sinistarr, Bones Jones, and Hoogs as well as providing an outlet for local drum and bass djs to show their wares. In 2012 Loki strives to maintain the humble momentum created by the last several years of work but also push his abilities to new levels. Stay tuned...

BERETTA

Beretta is best known for two things - his filthy upfront selection of dubs (both DNB & dubstep) and his energetic stage presence. CEO of both labels 'Sound Solution Digital' and 'Dub Selection' - Beretta began his DJing in Toronto, Canada (now residing in Buffalo, NY). Starting as a drum'n'bass DJ and event promoter, this quickly turned into a life long career. With the successful launch of his first label 'Sound Solution Digital' in early 2009 - he was now able to showcase not only his flawless DJing abilities, but also his own talents in business management and music production. After an amazing first year with 'Sound Solution Digital' and a growing passion for dubstep, Beretta decided to launch a sister label - 'Dub Selection'. In early 2011 Beretta took over the DNB label 'Dub Damage' along with DJ Kre & DJ Vast. He has shared the stage with some of bass musics top artists - some including Gemini, Koan Sound, Subzero, Jaydan, Ruffstuff, Dash-EXP, Total Science, Adventure Club, Run DMT, Hellfire Machina, Sicknote, Joe Nice, Down Jones, Dirty Deeds, MC Shabba D, & MC Funsta. Apart from running three successful labels and performing events, Beretta has over 45 DNB releases in the past 2 years (some of which are under his colab alias's 'Yellow Bastard' & 'Death Force'). Recently he has teamed up with DJ Kre to bring you some next level bizness under the name 'Zero Decibel'. Stay on the look out for Beretta's production because he's always pumping at new rudeness. Beretta - continually producing new music and being bombarded with fresh new beats - is sure to bring the life to the party!

THE DJ J-RED

Hailing from Rochester, NY, stepped behind the turntables for the first time in 1997 when he was just 14 years old. Just two short years later, at only 16 years old, in 1999 J-Red headlined his first gig alongside Terrence Parker and Johnny Fiasco in Toronto. Going hard and strong ever since, J-Red is well known for spinning the hottest in Breaks & Electro House. Combining his sharp cuts with seamless mixing, while mixing in some smooth scratching, J-Red knows how to rock the dance floor like no other! Having headlined Big Bud 2002, with hip-hop's MC Cannibus, and having been part of Syrous in Toronto, J-Red has built his name through hard work and dedication to the scene. Now running a weekly online show, JFN Radio on TheDJJred.com, every Tuesday night from 8-10pm (EST), with live video chat, J-Red continues to dedicate all his free hours to the music he loves. This talented DJ has nowhere to go but up.
