i was wondering if anyone has any good pictures or some sort of Plugin
that helps you make those formant frequencies that make a vowel noise
i know in ableton they have it under some folder and when you drag it in the vowel is already made

Is there a site with good pictures or diagrams or something
showing which freqs to boost when trying to create a vowel?
and have it for all of them?

Just have a play around and listen to see what makes what changes in the sound.

This is why Love Philter is amazing for this. You can have all your filters setup right in one window. BTW, when you do this I do believe you use Bandpass filters. Once you have your filters set to the correct frequencies you'll need to play with the resonance a bit as well to get it to form the sound when you automate the cutoff.

for a more subtle effect you can just notch it

seen this exact question more than once, again il suggest using parametric eq 1 and look at the presets.. ul find what u want there ;)
also wub and JBE are right, love philter will give way more control for vowel sounds.

here's some info from my bookmarks that might be helpful:

http://www.phon.ucl.ac.uk/home/wells/fo ... able-1.htm
http://mitpress.mit.edu/e-books/csound/ ... able3.html
http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/mar01/a ... nthsec.asp

as folks have said, ableton live has some pretty good presets as well.
