If youre going to start an actual group, it would probably be better to actually know the guys you're working with in person (in other words don't go online to find members). Doing collabs via the internet is okay, but having a group with that person could be a pain after a while.

get in touch with some close friends or get into the scene. just going to shows and meeting new people is really what its all about. go build your social network in real time, people will connect with you. they understand.

You need 7 members in a dubstep band. They are all key to getting the filthy complexity and hardhitting sounds:

1 Screamo Vocalist
1 Clean Vocalist
2 Bass Guitarists (you can substitute one of them with a regular guitarist if you want more midrange)
1 Synthesizerist (He will control the wubs and yoys, as well as the reese bass that will play throughout the song)
1 Special Percussionist (tambourines, triangles, crash cymbals and reversed cymbals. having him be on stage is optional. he can do just as well behind the curtain.)
1 Sound guy (will control the bitcrush and reverb from behind the scenes. extremely important. also doubles as a scapegoat for you to blame when you do a shit gig)
<keep it heavy>

Sometimes I think that there should be a warning to anyone who's not completely clued up in the scene.

All rastas, one bass guitarist on LOUD the rest on some crazy african drums. If you can get mala and pokes on board in this band, even better.

If you aint doing that, it's already been done.

It's all about having a pig in the band too so you can sample the pig squeals live and manipulate them on the spot.
