Leads Thread.
In my opinion what really makes a good intro to a song, is a good lead. I kinda find it hard to go about making leads because I always want something different, but I'm not sure exactly what sort of sound I want or need. When you make leads do you have in mind a sound you want to make usually? Also post some of your favourite leads so we can get some inspiration. My favourite lead I've heard recently is in this at 1:00 (the lower frequency one with the attack envelope) Soundcloud
Re: Leads Thread.
best lead imo is one that differs from whats comin next, one that differs from the main melody ur about to drop. one sick lead was emalkays when i look at you, shiiiiit so many elements, was pure perfection the way it kept you wonderin "where is this beautiful atmosphere comin to" then bam- the drop..woah
