Hi all, Just wanted to know if anyone can point me in the right direction and give me some advice. I've only been producing for about a year or so, so I'm relitavely new to it all. I'm trying to make some dungeon style bass lines but i'm having no luck! I can sit there for hours on end on massive but never manage to get an end result, get bored and give up. I know the sound I wan't to make but cant get it down.
If anyone has any advice or knows of any decent tutorials it would be greatly appreciated.

There is a big thread on dungeon sounds on this board, I suggest you look for it. The core consists of lowpass filters.

Thanks man, I'll have a look for it.
Thing is I'm not so hot on some of the terms you guys use on here so find them hard to understand or follow.

the dungeon plugin and dungeon sounds threads have tons and tons of good tips and tutorials. Also have a look into resampling, frequency splitting and the reese bass thread.

A general thing is slow attack and reverb. Reverb or even delay can do wonders to your bass. But the slow attack in my opinion is pretty important for most dungeon bass sounds.
