They should write more songs about dubstep and techno.

Dad is big fan, been meaning to listen to them for a while. Recommended albums?
Been loving this album recently, apparently it's basically a TH tribute? Sounds like Television to me, good shit.

Fear of Music, Talking Heads: 77, Speaking in Tongues, Remain in Light, More Songs About Building and Food.
Would recommend all of them tbh, and in no particular order. Don't think there is any album of theirs that is hailed above the rest, everyone has their own preferred one. Speaking in Tongues for me. Actually no 77 for....I seem to change my mind every other day.
And is it not just 'Talking Heads' ?

Speaking in Tongues has the best individual songs but Remain In Light is the best album IMO (More Songs About Buildings and Food following very closely)
I must have said this in about a dozen thread now whenever this comes up but if you turned up the compression on this you could release it on Warp or Brainfeeder today without it being out of place. David Byrne is an absolute visionary.
Byrne also has an album coming out with St. Vincent later this year which I'm very excited about.

David Byrne also apparently has one of the highest recorded IQs in America.
I love the story about Chris Frantz & Tina Weymouth going to Jamaica to record Ziggy Marley and Ziggy asks, "Mon, why you bring your wife with you?"
