SICKorWELL & Shane Sickx -Son House and Peg leg Sam
To express the love for blues music we have taken on this project with two of the greatest people to have been apart of the culture. I have never heard any thing like this tune we just finished and we hope you can truly embrace the mixture of styles this project offers. When I found Peg leg Sams music it truly moved me in a way that makes you reflect on your life. His voice holds the reality of this world in every since. With such a strong presence on the tune we felt that it could only be matched with equal soul that Son House brings to every recording I have ever heard by him. The Challenge was, not taking from the artist and keeping the tune as natural as we could to build upon the strengths that both Peg leg Sam and Son House brought to the project. We want to put a very big thank you in the universe to both of the late Artists. Your music still impacts the world and we thank you for expressing yourself while you were on this world.
