Lets say I want to remix a dubstep song, where should I start? What are some common methods to do so? Serious question by the way, no trolling plox

Find out if it has stems. If not then you could make a bootleg remix by Cutting it up and EQing parts out and adding your own stuff

Pretty much. Both methods have different approaches.

If you've got the stems, you gotta find the bpm and basically go from there.

If you've only got the track itself, you can try cutting out some parts and using them. The track in my signature was made this way.
