hi y'all, wanted to confirm sth and thought someone might help. so i got a keyboard but no cabels or anythin, been askin around in several shops for a midi cable, they say they aint got it, just to confirm tho: do i understand it right that you need not only a cable, but an inteface to get your keyboard to play in fl 4 example, or is there anythin else? by the way sorry i was to lazy to browse google, thanks ;p

Do you have an audio interface built into the keyboard or is it just a midi keyboard?
If it has no built in audio interface/sound card, you`ll need one to be able to input the midi cable.
Otherwise it could be a usb keyboard/interface which requires the usb cable for power and signal.

nope im pritty sure there's nothin else i have ;( no interface not cables nothin, got a midi in-and out sign on the keyboard tho. can i get all that stuff online?

its a yamaha, some kind of ypt-220 guesse thats the model, im just curious if it needs some special kind of cable or like.. idk just dont wanna buy the wrong stuff, hope you can help me here
