Any tips for keeping workflow up? When you have free time but just can't be arsed to work on tunes?

Muggy and raining is the very definition of 'studio weather'!
Watch inspiring films or documentaries. Work on something related, like patches or drum loops. Make some samples. Open a really old project and get inspired. Open a really old bottle of whisky and get pissed. Usually works for me.

Keep producing. If people only did shit when they felt like it the unemployment rate would be much higher. Some of my best music was written while I was frustrated and hating production.

Any got favourite motown strings? D Bridge played a Stevie Wonder tune on Benji B the other day.
Hard to find real rarities on DVD so you can get good audio, damn imperialists.

The cycle is as follows:-
1. Do something else (tv / computer games)
2. Get bored and realise I'm not having fun
3. Start to get paranoid that I'm not progressing as much as I want to in the studio.
4. Run back to the studio as quick as I can cursing myself for my procrastination.
5. Repeat

I read forums like DSF, I even been posting for some reason. Listen to mixs to get inspiration. Watch a load of crap on youtube, in fact I spend a lot of time on youtube.
I dont watch TV, well sometimes if there something good on.
I think about making music a lot, like when im listening to music. I might think how did they do that, then on off on one witch usually end in my DAW being opened.
I normally make 2 or 3 tracks in like 3 days and then I wont be in the mood for a week. Anyone do that?
