my sub bass keeps disappearing then gradually creeps back up again when i create a really basic wobble on massive???
I want it to be more solid or at least not have a mind of its own.
some days its really bad other days its not so bad, i kno other people have the same problem, ive had to record my bass then turn it into an audio which i know is long, if there is an easy method of fixing my disappearing sub please tell me!!
I use massive 1.1.4, its the real deal no crack version, i use it on logic 9.
Thanks so much for any one who helps.

Is the sub oscillator detuned from another oscillator? Cos that would probably do it. Other than that, if one sub note begins before another one ends, they can sometimes cancel eachother out.

Did you use a LFO to cutoff for the wobble and have the cutoff on the LP filter too low? If your sub is a sine and the cutoff reaches the fundamental frequency the volume will begin to drop.

This^^^ Try having the LFO on the amplitude not the filter cutoff

Sounds more like a phasing issue. Try adding a sub separately from your synth patch.

I might be reading this wrong, but I usually don’t make my Sub wobble... just the high & mid bass wobbles and the sub is a constant 60-70 Hz sine wave. What I defiantly notice and have had issues with is that some notes will produce a much louder sub volume than others... so you can have the same sub patch in massive playing through your notes and some notes will seem much louder than others. I've corrected this with heavy limiters, or using multiple sub tracks with different volumes to get a consistent volume\push out of it.

Isn't 60-70hz sub a bit too high?

i think that has something to do with resonance, some notes would be percieved higher in the volume than the others

make a separate basic patch and that won't happen

nah, just about as high as you want to go but definitely not too high

Some notes may appear louder/quieter because of the acoustics of your room, so be careful when playing with the volume of individual notes.

Or maybe your notes are playing freqs that you have eq'd away?

you can bypass the oscilator that is producing the sub in the routing page
