Hi All,

Was just looking for some advice on buying a turntable to be able to rip all my vinyl collection thats just been sitting in the attic and also so that i can get vinyl only releases into traktor?

Not looking to spend a silly amount but i would just like something that is recommended as having good quality sound.

Any advice or links would be appreciated.

Cheers

Just had a look at that now, seems pretty cool, Has anyone used one of these? Are the recordings decent?

TTUSB is alright. it gets the job done. but if you go through USB the sound comes through mono and it usually adds a few high frequency artifacts. id highly recommend just running it the normal way into a phono preamp and then into your soundcard. ive done both with my TTUSB and honestly recording through USB just sucks.

Id also recommend spending 20 more on a stanton turntable or something as itll probably be a little better quality. But the TTUSB gets the job done for me when i run in into my soundcard. hope that helped any!

yeah I just have a basic stanton turntable, it does the job, but I run it into my mixer and then have my mixer output into my soundcard, which records into logic - sound quality is great

I've been looking into this too lately, anyone had any experience with the Pro-ject Debut turntable? From what I've read it would be great for ripping vinyls, would like more opinions though first.
